That was a ‘tie’ match, and those wearing them were school boys who had come on a school trip to visit the ancient city of Polonnaruwa .Going by the clue of ‘Manindersingh’- it was not much difficult to imagine the right answer.
Today’s picture shows Shamol and Shanil, playing volleyball, along with other locals and tourists, on the beach of Ahungale on the west coast of Sri Lanka,. The ball and other players are not seen, but the clue is very clear. Actually, why just cricket teams-you and me, all indulged in social networking, are in involved in this inter '…… ………..’ Must not miss, at least now!

Yesterday’s puzzle

The clue was: Maninder Singh
In this picture we can see students wearing ties. Maninder Singh was known for his left-arm spin bowling. But he was the last batsman to be dismissed, leaving Ravi Shastri stranded at the other end in the
famous India vs Australia Test at Chepauk in 1987, which ended in a tie.
