Doctored Cricket Quiz..day 11

As i'd hinted yesterday..'the clue of the quiz-is going to HIT really hard'. Though the pickers were quite few- the momentum and the response was maintained..I'm really happy for the scored 'century' of the mails..There is a constant flow of feedback that if the medium of the replies and response be allowed in the format of 'sms' or calls..at least there will be ten fold registrations.

But then.. with time we need to change.. and same has happened in today's quiz.In the cricketing world 'it' has become almost extinct..non existent..barring a occasional case like Sri Lanka's tour to Bangladesh-some two years back.No body has time to afford that ! Let's see-how many of you take out time to 'mail' the answers, and not idle the day in 'siesta' like 'reclining' Buddha'?

Here’s a cricket quiz like no other. Every day, we carry a picture clicked by cricket fanatic Dr Hiren Shah in course of his travels around the world. Hidden in every picture is a cricketing term. To help you unravel this cricketing term, Dr Shah provides a clue. Today’s Puzzle TODAY’S CLUE: Extinct All correct entries get an honorable mention in the paper. We got answers like ‘hard hitting’, ‘slogging’, ‘hitting’, ‘thrashed’... this puzzle turned out to be an unintended googly for us. We got 120 entries, of which 23 were right answers.
