Salus, an Arabic word, means ‘a trio’ or ‘a cluster of three’ . Trio can be perceived as tri O or '3 dots'.
During our 'hurried drive' in Egypt, we came across many such '3 dots', which we tried to convert into 'millions of pixels' and stored them in our 'hard drives'.
These ‘salus’- now the digitized formats of Egyptian forms-were live or inanimate, ancient or modern, small or gigantic…and were
as vivid as-cabs or columns-cups or camels-cats or catacombs…
-frescos or flowers-frames or fellucas…
-pots or people~ the latter can be local or tourists like our Shanil, Shamol and Vrushali!
Please try to view these 3 dots with two eyes open [?]- We mean two " i " visible!
You may find them quite interesting like the characters of the recent Bollywood blockbuster..may be more colourful..even more playful..and definitely more idiosyncratic!!
