As expected, out of around 130 entries, more than 60 per cent said the answer is ‘No ball’. No sirs and madams, no ball is not the right answer, never mind the outstretched hand. Just check out the posture of the dude in the picture. He’s obviously in the middle of a scrap, and that’s sledging on cricket field, and that’s just not done. ..its a puzzling paradox..world cup in WI & cricket quiz in AM started almost together.

today this quiz is entering in its thumping third week, while our national team is returning back home- sheepishly, empty handed..

yesterday 'paper-tiger' pundits in tv-room were postulating mathematical equations to score 200 odd runs,and beating srilanka by 20 and more runs..and here our readers silently scored double century of responses and clogged the mail box of AM..

i'm overwhelmed.. and extremely grateful to both- AM for showcasing and sharing this 'orthodox googly quiz' for more than a fortnight now and its readers for 'reading' it continuously, carefully,rightly.. and at times 'showing' it the stands over the fence..

with such shots, jonty rhodes won't get chance to stop them, where ever he may be fielding!

BTW, yesterday Rahul Gandhi showed similar 'windows' of todays quiz-pic to visiting Bill 'Gates' in Amethi!!

..lifeless=dead, party=ball..and then i asked to 'umpire' that dancer in the quiz.am i giving very obvious hints? but where are the takers..at least there are not many on FB.

..probably its time to change the profile picture. in today's quiz- same 'love seat' location with the illusion of being marooned in water island in that Geoffrey Bawa's signature resort at Ahungale in SriLanka..'generation-next' has taken over the frame.

.. two of them are sitting and the third is entering the scene.perfect morning light to create a crispy reflection in the water of swimming pool.. the sea and the blue horizon behind completes the composition.. to add drama, silhouette of the tree trunk dissects the frame in puritanical 1/3 & 2/3, and the black strip of the fore ground bears the 'weight' and binds ..& balances ..bla..bla... whatever..in short, namita and i like this picture of our '3 .d.ots.' very very much!
